Fortnightly at 7.30pm
This is a fortnightly activity of exploring the Bible and is for anyone who wants to read and understand the Bible and its message. We read a section (a book) of the Bible from start to finish, one chapter at a time. As we read, we discuss what we have read and what we think it means. We encourage and welcome any questions on what we have read, which we then try to answer together. As we believe the Bible to be the only source of God’s word, we seek to let the Bible speak for itself.
You don’t need any previous experience of the Bible, and you are free to believe what you want. You decide how much you participate and you are welcome to just sit and listen if you prefer. Our main reason for running this seminar is just to better understand the Bible (which we believe to be God’s word) as it can be a difficult book to read. So we are here to help read it. The seminar does not include any hymns or music, although we do open and close with a short prayer.
The seminar is held every two weeks at the home of one of our members at 7:30pm and we are currently reading through Romans. For further details and to enquire about coming along, please contact us via the 'Ask a Question' page.
